Official: Companies sell 8.4 bcm of gas on exchange January–November
MOSCOW, Dec 15 (PRIME) -- Russian companies sold 8.4 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas on the exchange in January–November, Deputy Director of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Vitaly Korolyov said on Friday.
"We have registered the sale of 8.4 bcm of gas in the first 11 months of 2023,” Korolyov said.
“But Gazprom’s volumes fall each year, while the volume of independent gas suppliers increased. I want to say that they doubled over 11 months."
According to the official, Rosneft ensured the bulk of increase in 2023. The share of independent suppliers is to continue to grow, he said.
